I bet you are wondering how we came up with the name. Well, you guessed it. I started as an aspiring music artist. The year before I started 8th grade I entered a talent show with my friends in a group that I had to compete to join. I won a spot and the rest is history. I continued my journey to college where I majored in Audio Production. I chose the major because i didnt know what to do after high school. There was no oppurtunities in my reach for studio time then, due to lack of resources. I decided to figure out how to record myself and the college I chose (Art Institute of Nashville TN) promised a recording booth available anytime there wasnt a class in the classroom. I was sold. Fast forward 10 years to 2023 with some risky investments in the middle even including real estate and here we are. Throughout the journey I focused on skill while the industry side of music was concentrated on exploitation. I grew up with siblings which honed my desire to be unique, my competetive spirit, while instilling team based values. Ive noticed alot of people lack values. During this 10 year period I established my stage name as Palindrome and I decided to make the first name based off my real name. My brothers and I  underwent a lot of learning through experience as well as reading and studying to travel through others experiences during this period. All because we come from a background with little to no assistance. We noticed alot of foul play and misguidance in our communities. Being a strong minded indivdual who speaks truth and pushes progression didnt get me much popularity because its the opposite of how western society taught us to get along. Alot of people thought i came from something I didnt and thought I was someone i'm not. This left me without gaining as many relationships like the others who got tricked and trapped. I come from a toxic situation like the rest of them. I just chose to focus on my ambitions and believed in myself while weighing risk vs reward. While having tunnel vision can be good I had too much. I now see that music isnt my only gift. In fact, my gift thats been shown throughout time is my open perspectives, analyzing, and my genuine character. This led to my realizing the world we've been taught is wicked and the industry seeks to send the Hip Hop/ R&B community into further wicked promotions and conformity with the lifestyle. So, I made a decision to be a light that cant be controlled. Im sticking to my values and im riding with those who are with me, how we've always done. Rnb Mutant started as an alias/ description for my sound as an artist but its much more bigger now. Its about whats inside of us, our character. Choosing to be solid with our people. Being there for our love ones, not decieving and fighting over the top spot but pulling each other up according to our positions, influence, and resources, just like every other thriving culture. R&B in front of mutant stands for  righteous and blessed. We are a brand fashioned for the solid in all walks of life.
